Care & Cleaning/Care of Finish - Finishes are naturally resistant to minor everyday hazards or accidents, however, some precautions are necessary to maintain the beauty of wood furniture. (1) Dust with soft cloth slightly moistened with water. Always rub in the direction of the wood grain. (2) Do not place beverages directly on furniture. (3) Furniture should not be placed in direct sunlight. (4) Remove any spills or smudges immediately.
The more transitionally styled chair in the Kafe Casual Dining Collection is the Splat Back Dining Chair. With a somewhat minimalist design, the Splat Back chair features a clean, tapered splat in the silhouette of the back. Like the other chairs in the Kafe program, this one is also available in either the Mocha finish (shown here) or the lighter toned Latte option. Adding to this choice is the option of using either an upholstered seat or wood seat (both are included at no extra charge). Many customers enjoy the comfort of a fabric dining seat so we used a performance fabric made to repeal stains and withstand years of everyday use. Others may prefer the wood seat option for its more casual look, and the quick cleaning and worry free nature of a solid wood seat.
